great job balakrishnan, this is  the first time  someone has posted the 
lifecycle of this amazing butterfly, i  have turned scores of  leaves in the  
hope of  finding one , never succeeded.

SOUTH INDIAN BLUE OAKLEAF (Kallima horsfieldi) 
  
The Adult butterfly was found laying eggs on Strobilanthes ciliatus 
Generally on small plants,lays egg on any part including stems even on plants 
nearby 
Fed with tender to matured leaves of diff types of strobulanthus 
Egg to larva 4 days 
Egg to pupa 30 days 
Pupa to butterfly  7 days
