The white dot form occurs indiscriminately with the other form. This genus is 
given to some seasonal variation. While this particular species does not have 
pronounced seasonal variation like the Peacock Pansy, however, in this and the 
Lemon Pansy, the undersides vary. Why this happens can be attributed variously 
to God, natural selection, genetic variation, etc., depending on what you 
firmly believe in to the exclusion of other things....

Hello 
I m new on this group...dont know weather this topic has been discussed here b4 
or not.I want to know about the variety of Chocolate pansy. attached files r 
the two varieties of it.  


1 why this variety must have been formed?
2 do they interbreed? 
3 Do the  the white dots on hind wing in the uncommon variety exists in male n 
female both?
