Hello folks, I will be visiting Arunachal Pradesh for 10 days as part of butterfly/ moth survey for a Rufford project. Details underneath: Guwahati arrival/departure 20 March 2010/30 March 2010 Places being visited: Langka, Seijosa, Tipi in Pakke Tiger Reserve (6 days) and Sessa Orchid Wildlife Sanctuary (2 days)
I will be setting up moth screens at remote locations using a genset, hence we should see some "funky" stuff. Butterflies, are of course, terrific in this area. During a trip made to Pakke/Sessa/Eaglenest in October, we saw ~ 220 butterfly species! However, I have no idea what the activity will be like in March.
