D K Bhaskar is a Bangalorean explorer and photojournalist. Passionate about
nature, science, research and education, his journeys have taken him to the
most diverse of landscapes in the farthest corners of the planet.
He has recently been made a Fellow of The Explorers Club.
'The Fragile Forest’ is a compelling collection of images and essays which
introduce the reader to the mystery and romance of Amazonia, while bringing
alive the significance of the basin as the greatest biodiversity hotspot on
this planet.
Dr. Meg Lowman is Director, Nature Research Center, North Carolina Museum of
Natural Sciences.
She currently serves on the board of The Explorers Club,
is a published author of the book, “Forest Canopies”, and has another book,
“It's a Jungle Out There – More Tales from the Treetops”, in the offing.
