I am now rearing butterflies in quantity.
I am not doing it for just documenting lifecycle. I am doing it with a
mission, to restore or protect the abundance of butterflies of kolkata.
Just a Results:
Last January I have started with 7 caterpillars taken from adjacent areas of
my park
In the month of November, I have collected 685 catterpillars which is less
than 30%, which we found in the park and have successfully released 592
butterflies in the wild.
Is this bad for butterflies?
Please expert let me know. I need to learn!!
regards
Arjan
