Kishen, this is White-tipped Lineblue:

And possibly these are, too, but I can’t be 100% sure from these pictures:

You should be able to check if there are any other individuals of this species
in your photo collection. The rest is a big mix of predominantly other Prosotas
lineblues found in the Western Ghats, with a few Nacaduba lineblues and some
other lineblues (several genera are called lineblues in English). The Prosotas
lineblues are pretty easy to identify using Evans’ key but Nacaduba lineblues
are tough. I helped you with the White-tipped Lineblue because it is uncommon
in the Western Ghats, so your records are important. Check Evans’ key to
identify the rest. You got to get to this group sooner or later.

Cheers,

Krushnamegh.

Let me know if you any of can quickly ID the Line Blues in the below link -
https://picasaweb.google.com/107163590022930106187/Lineblues_LowRes#
Information about the date and place is found on the right column, as part of
the file name.
Makutta is same as Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary.

I would need lot of time to ID them, as I am not that familiar with Line Blues.

Unni, this is Tailless Lineblue (Prosotas dubiosa). Amol Patwardhan and Yuwaraj
Gurjar have very good pictures of the White-tipped Lineblue (P. noreia),
perhaps they can post their images. E. Kunhikrishnan from TVM also has very
good pictures, but I don’t think he is on this group.

Dear friends,
I would like to discuss on this butterfly which I believe is a White-tipped
Lineblue.
Photographed in 2008 March, at Vellikulanagara, a low altitude mixed deciduous
forest.
(The place where I photographed this species no longer exists - the area was
cleared off all vegetation
and the land was handed over to the tribal people by the Government of Kerala.)
Does anyone have better pictures of the species for comparison and confirmation
of the ID?
Any data on its distribution?
Happiness to you!
