Subject: Unidentified Butterfly

Dear Sir /
Madam,

Please find
attached a photograph of a butterfly.  I believe it to be a skipper, and it
was taken on a recent trip to Sri Lanka (Sinharaja).
I am aware that this is not your local area, but I thought it might also be
found in Southern India and have
struggled to find a Sri Lankan
expert to help me out - if you could point me in the way of someone, that
would be great.

Alternatively,
if you could help me with the identification I would be very
grateful.

Tim Sykes was
the photographer.  I am sure he would have no problems with your using the
image as long as it is attributed to him.

If you could
CC your response to [email protected]  I would be
very grateful

Best
wishes,

Owain
