The monsoon is in its full force and we are glad to annouce a nature trail to Manpada, Thane on 14th August 2011. Walk along a small trail to the hillock near Manpada on the Thane- Ghodbunder road. It is situated on Thane side the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP). Enjoy the monsoon flora and fauna along the trail. Watch the dazzle of butterflies and other treasure troves of nature. One can have a bird’s eye view of the adjoining spread Thane city and the creek. *Venue:* Manpada. *Date:* 14th August 2011 *Time:* 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. *Meeting Point:* Manpada Entry point of SGNP near Tikuji ni wadi. *Charges:* Rs. 60/- per head. Please note participants have to buy their own entry ticket of Rs. 30/- each at the National Park gate. *How to reach:* Take State Transport or BEST Bus going to Borivali/ Mira Road/ Bhayendar from Thane Station. Get down at Manpada Bus stop. You can catch auto, TMT bus or walk up to Tikuji ni wadi.
