That will always be a good idea. Lot of people even plan their outings 3-4
months in advance and it can become too late to change them even if they are
keen on attending.

hi vijay,
I was very happy to see the garo hills event at an economical price, but once
again the announcement came too late as all the trains from Mumbai are all
filled up. I cannot attend even if I wanted to ,  I request the organisers to
take the 3month reservation rule of the railways and announce the programmes
more than 3 months in advance so that long distance enthusiasts like me do not
lose out on the opportunity.
Regards,
Krishnakumar Nair

Dear Friends,

I happy to announce the much awaited first ButterflyIndia Meet 2011 officially.
The details are as follows:

Garo Hills, Meghalaya in October 2011When : 23th-29th October 2011
Where : South Garo Hills, Meghalaya
Why it is important : The north-eastern state of Meghalaya is situated in the
Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot. Along with protected areas, the presence of
large stretches of old growth and secondary forests which are community owned
has helped preserve the immense faunal and floral diversity of this
region.Please visit http://diversityindia.org/meet/garo2011b.html for the
registration details and tentative schedule of the meet is at
http://diversityindia.org/meet/garo2schedule.html

Since we have really limited seats, please register at the earliest to avoid
disappointment. If you have any questions please email
[email protected]

Regards,

Vijay Barve
