Thank you Mr. Rodrigues for your kind assistance, we are indeed in need of such real conclusions from all the nature lovers.
Here are the preparations being clarified for all the nature lovers chronologically as per your assistance- a. Currently we have arranged such co-ordinators in all the adjacent areas of two bio-diversity areas,1.Buxa-tiger reserve ( covering Rajabhatkhawa, Raimatang, Lepchaka, Jayanti, Chunabhatti, Chilapatta, holung etc)and 2. Neora valley national park( Samsing,Rocky-island, Rongo, Jholung, Bindu, Paren,Mouchuki, lava-loleygaon, Gorubathan, todey-tangta,) Regarding Neora valley the querries can be sent through email to [email protected] Regarding Buxa-tiger reserve and adjacent areas the emails can be sent to [email protected] b.This is the thing which we need to work out, and it would be highly appreciated if such books are donated, so that the collection can be kept to educate the youths, the evening programs will certainly be organised if the travelers are enthusiastic on sharing their knowledge on the flora and fauna of the areas. c. This has been worked out, you can have a totally new experience in exploring the unveiled places which could be a hub for nature lovers, with all the adventure facilities in advance. Mr Balakrishna Valappil and Mr Rudra prasad had the similar experience to explore the never before seen places of Samsing where I my self escorted them and they had the shots of BROAD SPARK.Have the similar experience with the other areas as well. d. All the home stays are strictly worked upon for the provision of Western toilets, the home stays selected will certainly have the basic neccesities fulfilled accordingly. You can have the experience of the same either. The feed back form are of three types, One will be for the home stays, the second will be for the guides assigned, and the third will be for the transportation. e.We are a group of social workers( not the tour operators) where we have tried our best to provide the capacity building training to the communities, therefore we herald the feedbacks, assitances, bad experiences, problems with the local, missing accessories from all the nature lovers in any form. For further details about our works and destinations please refer to samsingchauthary.blogspot.com and please share your comments on socialecotourism.blogspot.com Thanks Babit gurung ________________________________ From: Nelson Rodrigues <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Fri, 19 August, 2011 5:36:45 AM Subject: Re: [ButterflyIndia] Be a social traveler and support the environment..... Yes babit i agree with a lot with what you say ... i have travelled extensively in the North east but when we are so far away with no proper contacts and there are network problems we need a second line of defence should things not work out. there should be a one or two central co ordinators in that particular place with whom we can get things in writing via email especially regarding costing, so there is total transparency and no room for doubt. These co ordinators should be available if things dont go according to plan in that place or if one has any complaints or suggestions to offer B. Have a local library with basic books on birds, butterflies, amphibians wild flowers and when experts come and ask them to give talks to the locals in the evening or night that will increase their nature IQ this will help in a big way. Encourage locals to invest in binoculars and spotting scopes. Or the central agency can give them out on rent C. Have the locals scout the place and see the best places for birding, butterflying and unusual sights that will be appreciated by the visitors . If there is trekking or climbing involved let people know in advance the level of difficulty or how long the trek or climb will be. D. Have a feedback form that has to be filled by visitors and sealed in an envelope this will greatly help. Another difficulty faced by foriegners and city folks is that since many of us use western toilets some people find it very difficult to use indian toilets, that is something important and should be mentioned in the mail E. the rules of the game are simple if people have had an enjoyable experience and are assured of dependabale people to help out should things not work out , then i am sure your venture will work out better than expected good luck to you and gbu for all your efforts in this direction Babbit Nelson Rodrigues --- On Thu, 18/8/11, babit gurung <[email protected]> wrote: >From: babit gurung <[email protected]> >Subject: [ButterflyIndia] Be a social traveler and support the environment..... >To: [email protected] >Date: Thursday, 18 August, 2011, 1:31 PM > > > > > > > > > >Hello Nature lovers..... > > >How many times in a year do you spend money on tour and adventure program ? >well >that is the number of social work and environment support you'll be doing >this >season.
