Vijay,
This could be the Branded Orange Awlet Burara oedipodia or the Orange
Awlet B. jaina. The best way to be sure to examine the brands on the
upf (male). In Branded Orange Awlet this brand at the base of UPF is
large, black and circular, while in the Orange Awlet it is much smaller.
However, the NE ssp of Orange Awlet ssp vasundhara sometimes has a
pale spot UNF in the cell and a broader pale discal area, hence this
butterfly is likely to be the Orange Awlet, but the only way to be
dead certain is to examine the brands.

A rare one, at least I saw only one. I am not sure how many
participants saw / photographed it ?
Do reply with your answers of the identity, and reasons why you feel
so.
