Hi folks, This is not about butterflies/moths and nature photography, but I know that many of you are interested in wildlife research and nature conservation, so I am going ahead with my message:
My friend Shermin de Silva, originally from Sri Lanka, has been doing her research on Asian elephants and conservation in Sri Lanka for many years. She has published a number of research papers on family group structure and local movement patterns of Sri Lankan elephants. She is actively engaged in conservation issues of these elephants, and is trying to expand her research team. See her email below, and contact her directly if you are interested in supporting her research or conservation work. With best regards, Krushnamegh. ------------------------------------------------- Krushnamegh Kunte, PhD Post-doctoral Research Fellow FAS Center for Systems Biology Harvard University 52 Oxford St., Northwest Lab Room 458.40-3 Cambridge, MA 02138, USA.
