Panasonic FZ series are having

1. Good vibration reduction
2. Good depth of field when attached close up filters like +1, +2 or +4 also
good working distance 10 to 15 ins.
3. Even when taken in tele the cropped pictures have good resolution

FZ 50 is the best in that series, but the model is discontinued

Only the disadvantage with prosumers is they drain out battery quickly and time
lag between shots.

Subject: [ButterflyIndia] What camera do you use?

Frendz

Many college students  and young people, who not in a position to buy an SLR
camera ,ask me which is  a good compact or bridge camera that can capture
decent butterfly images

So if you  are happy with your  aim and shoot  camera  ( or if you know someone
who gets good results from these cameras) could you kindly tell me the name of
this camera,  model no and approximate  cost so i  can convey this information
to them.
