Dear Haneesh,

The Medus Brown (=Nigger, Orsotriaena medus) is correct. For the bushbrown,
compare the picture with the Sahyadri Long-branded Bushbrown (Mycalesis
igilia):

Confirmation can come only when you have checked the male brand, but the
markings are remarkably similar. There are not too many recent records of
this species from the Western Ghats.
