Dear BVARC,
It is with sadness that I am reporting to you that Camp Hope Amateur Radio Club is being discontinued. Well, it actually never got started. I still believe that amateur radio can and does indeed have an impact on a warrior's PTSD recovery. But, unfortunately, despite the efforts of all of us, Camp Hope Amateur Radio is not going to happen now or at any point in the foreseeable future. We have received many donations of equipment to set up the ham club. If you donated gear and would like to have it back, we would gladly give it back to you. Otherwise, I will re-direct the donated equipment to Ham Radios for Heroes. (www.hamradio4heroes.com) I intend to contact the equipment donors in the coming week to address this.
