I would like to announce my wife Tina Martinez as a new member of BVARC. She
passed her Tech rating about 3 weeks ago. She has paid the club dues, and is
now a member of the best radio club in Texas.
Before studying for her Tech rating, she told me she would NOT go any further
in Ham Radio. But after she aced the Tech test, it has somehow become a
challenge to her now. She is at 60% in her General Class study, and will again
be taking her next test from Franz Laugermann in about 2 weeks. I am sure if
she aces that one too, she will try to show me up and ace the Extra Class just
to look me in the eye and say "I told you So". But until then, I still have
that Extra Class carrot hanging in front of her....daring her to catch up with
me!
Not bad for a CPA that never knew a volt from a watt. Now I cant shut her up.
She is continually hitting me up with electrical formulae now. And I don't
know a damn thing about accounting.....Duh Best Regards,Rodney J.
