Fixing to get a new Yaesu FTM-100dr rig with WIRES-X digital capabilities on board. Has any one had a problem connecting to a WIRES-X repeater here in Houston or Dallas? Just wondering because my analog rig Alinco DR-735 with a diamond 30A 2meter/70cm antenna could only connect to 6 or 7 repeaters at best here. I know we are talking apples to oranges...analog to digital but I thought I would ask. Please advise.
