Yes tried another repeater. One problem my new radio Yaesu FTM100dr....the
(* key) is a VFO/ Memory mode switch so when I hit * to give AllStar
commands the radio switches VFO and memory and dosen't run the AllStar like
the youtube videos say. Its a new radio as of 7 days ago. Trying to
connect to specific node type repeaters in Alabama and Florida to get beach
conditions.
I own a rent house 100 feet off the beach in Gulf Shores Alabama and trying
to get in touch with the locals especially during hurricane months.
Thought the FTM100dr with its fusion would give me node rooms like the
ALABAMA LINK room to do this... which it does...BUT more people from all
over America and world are on it more than people from Alabama. Which led
me to an AllStar setup to connect to a speciific node and the people
there. Not having much luck...Need advise..
