The log and documentation has been officially submitted to the ARRL.
Interestingly, we were only 312 points shy of last year's score, which is
actually pretty good considering the solar activity was less AND there were
personnel changes within the group which complicated some matters. This was
not a perfect Field Day by any means, but it actually went quite well, there
was a lot of participation, the food was great and we had FUN! I'm already
excited about next year FD2027!
Thanks again to all the operators above, plus the antenna crews, cooks,
cleanup crew, The Fort Bend County Fire Field, etc. A big thanks to Richard
Bonica, KG5YCU who probably worked harder than anyone before, during and
after Field Day.
And if you haven't already, those who operated Field Day from home can still
contribute to the aggregate score by indicating "Brazos Valley Amateur Radio
Club" on their entry form (you have until July 28th). Please do so if you
haven't.
