The 10-10 Summer Phone QSO Party is in THIS WEEKEND! It runs from Friday
night at 7pm to Sunday night at 7pm. Yeah, 48 hours. I will on the air as
long as there is 10 meter propagation. It's a great way to promote 10 meter
activity and check our your gear/antennas, too!
Please look for me and give me a QSO. All I need is your name and state, a
10-10 number if you have one is optional but worth another point. So point
your antenna (if it's rotatable) to Richmond. I have a pretty high antenna
(75 feet) so I can usually hear all of the Greater Houston area.
I also hold a special net at 8pm Friday and Saturday night on 28.488 to
assist local hams to contact each other. This is permittable for this
contest since the whole idea behind 10-10 is to promote 10 meter activity
any way we can. So please check into the net, even if you've already
contacted me before. Check in both nights if you would like!
