Great guy and teacher down in Wharton. He is working to get more students interested, licensed and on the air. Most of his students fall in to the low income bracket. Looking for donations of all things typical things needed for new Tech Ham’s to get started. No matter how small. I understand why he wants it donated to him, directly. Once given to a school, it becomes District property and can be moved to any school in the district for any reason. He is trying to build a lastin WHS radio club and expose more kids to the hobby.
