Yes... he keeps $45... what a deal! I suppose he recognized an opportunity
to simplify the renewal process (govt site is not exactly easy to use) and has
CAPITALIZED on it. MANY hams pay it.Kind of like 10-10... charging $10 for a
"number" and a certificate (piece of paper) saying you are a member. And then
you are supposed to exchange numbers and participate in/ promote 10 meter
activity. That guy that started 10-10 years ago has no doubt received MANY $10
bills. 77,968 is Glen's recent 10-10 number. And they keep getting people to
pay them $10 every day just so hams can say they have a number and give to the
10M 10-10 community. And you are shamed for not getting a number yet. So on
and on it goes... smh Pat
