Hmm i made it through the first few minutes of it. This video is the first time ive ever heard the origin of Ham being that we were all idiots, which invalidates the video. I grew up in a family of hams (Dad lic age 16, Mom lic age 25) and Ive been licensed for 34 years and Ive only ever heard that the origin of the word Ham came from the name(s) of the original founders of the hobby. I have to agree that the moderation of this video is AI Generated.

I ran into this historical video about ham radio. I think it would be good to forward to a son, daughter, niece, nephew, or grandkid. It shows why ham radio is important for them. Hope you, and a young mind that you forward it to, find the video interesting. 73, Stephen (OA4/W2WF) https://youtu.be/9IIhHkr0Q74?si=ZHjKxVtsohpbybG7 _______________________________________________ Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club (BVARC) 🌐 Website: https://bvarc.org<https://bvarc.org/> 🤝 Get Involved: https://bvarc.org<https://bvarc.org/> 💡 Suggestions: https://bvarc.org/home/suggestions 👥 Member Roster: https://bvarc.org/roster.php Unsubscribe or Change Settings: https://bvarc.org/home/club-listserver/ _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club (BVARC) 🌐 Website: https://bvarc.org 🤝 Get Involved: https://bvarc.org 💡 Suggestions: https://bvarc.org/home/suggestions 👥 Member Roster: https://bvarc.org/roster.php Unsubscribe or Change Settings: https://bvarc.org/home/club-listserver/ _______________________________________________
