Collecting this information should certainly be part of the student sign-up process. Information about who they buy it from, how much it costs and how fast it is would also be relevant, though the speed/cost information would be hard to track without asking to see a recent phone bill. Having this information would allow Bworks to get a better picture of the broadband connectedness of the community it serves and would aid in grant proposals. > 5) broadband modem/router (wired) > 6) broadband modem/router (wireless) Gotta recommend these two. Tons easier to maintain, potentially maintainable by the user. New wireless routers can be had for $40, used for under $20, often under $10. Potentially grantable expense, though so are the modems, computers, instructors, staff, repairs, etc. Dan
