That's related to the free function subject, as the ares_parse_txt_reply() hasn't been added to CVS and thus the build fails (since ares_parse_txt_reply() uses it).
It is my fault really who stopped to discuss this issue in the middle after having applied parts of Jakub's work. We'll work it out soon enough!
