Dumindu Pallewela commented on AXIS2C-1541:
-------------------------------------------
I think the issue here is just a matter of notation. Even if a CA certificate
is not used (i.e. when using a self signed certificate), we need the server
certificate to make an https connection. In such a case we have to specify the
server certificate (self signed) as the CA certificate. To make things even
more confusing, the configuration parameter for this is called "SERVER_CERT" in
axis2.xml !
I think we have documented this well enough at
http://axis.apache.org/axis2/c/core/docs/axis2c_manual.html#ssl_client
Am I totally missing the point as I've not touched this piece of code in a few
years? :)
