Hi Nandika,
There is no specific reason to have JSON reader and writer at http transport
directory, I just didn't find right place for it.
There is two things I forgot to fix in my patch:
1. Rename json-c pkg-config modname: on newer versions of json-c libraries it
should be "json-c" instead of "json".
2. MSVC compiler support: it very sensitive to header order and forward
declarations, need small rewrite.
There is a patch that includes previous patch and fixes those two issues.
Unfortunately, I have problems with porting of build\makefile to current trunk:
too many changes against 1.6.0 version, for now I leave it partially patched,
it may not work.
