Well, they like it because of the _HUGE_ VB community out there.  Freely 
sharing and swapping VB source code is a favorite pastime of such 
programmers.  You just copy and paste what you need, tweak a couple 
lines, and it generally works.  I've never heard of a single lawsuit 
over such behavior because no one who uses VB really cares as long as it 
works.  It is a copyright lawyer's nightmare.
