Anything at box.sk is illegal (or if it used is illegal). Don't recommend it or any other "free e-book site" again or I'll ban you. Most programming books are only available in book form. If an e-book version is available, you still have to pay the publisher (and thus the author) for it. Publishers shut down hundreds of the "free e-book sites" every day. Such sites are a serious problem for authors because it seriously cuts into their royalty checks (some authors depend on those checks to live and you deprive them of things like food, clothing, etc. when you recommend illegal e-book sites). There are only two "free" and legal C++ e-books in existence worth reading: "Thinking in C++" by Bruce Eckel (Volumes 1 and 2) "Safe C++ Design Principles" by Thomas Hruska (me) only free for c-prog members. Normally, it is $45 for this e-book, but I'm generous. I'm not aware of any other free C++ e-books. AFAIK, there are no free/legal e-books in C. -- Thomas Hruska CubicleSoft President Ph: 517-803-4197 *NEW* VerifyMyPC 2.0 Change tracking and management tool.
