Yes. At least under the sobriquet he usually posted under. Hence one of my comments before I regretfully resigned from moderating on here. (Not that it was a reason for resigning, it certainly wasn't - it was just that while/after posting, I thought 'Victor hasn't commented recently (um years) and did some digging.... ah, that's why, he's no longer posting - he's not a member.) I just find that some of my comments ring a bell with his style of posting. (the reason for the above thinking.) Maybe I should have rephrased it. Am I turning into my dad*? It just seemed amusing, and apt, that I thought my questions were taking the turn of phrase that Victor would have used - he came across as the older guy, stuck in his ways, with comments that stuck to the standards, and seemed to refuse that anything outside of those parameters, and was to be sneered at. I'm sure I'm not intentionally slighting Victor, but I'm sure that if he read this he'd be slighted anyway. It's just the way he came across. And it helped the list back then. Or at least I like to think it did. He was a pain in the arse, but he was always right. Too right sometimes, which is what got others' back up. I'm rambling, and for no good reason beyond... well. I reminise sometimes, and for some strange reason I decided to bore you all. Nite. :) * assuming 'generic dad', not my real one. I really don't hope that...
