Second hit (after the repeated question on Yahoo Answers)

As a moderator, this is the kind of vague, non-specific,
homework question I've been rejecting of late.

This isn't personally directed at the OP, rather it's
directed at people who naively ask such questions. I
should stress that the issue is _NOT_ that this a simple
question. We all have simple questions and if you don't
ask, you'll never know. The issue is: this question
could be answered without sending an email to 11,000+
people.

Of course it's difficult to learn languages, and there
are many questions along the way. It is common courtesy
and good practice to attempt to find existing answers
prior to posting. The simpler the question, the more
likely there is to be thousands of answers already
given.

If you've done some searches, then it's worth mentioning
where you've looked and what you've got out of them, and
what you still don't understand.

Bottom line: make use of existing resources and try to
be self sufficient before rushing to ask others to come
to your aid. This isn't merely an aspect of on-line
forums, this is an aspect of just about every life and
work endeavour.

If you're truly stuck, we're here to help.
