Sorry - is the problem just that cellNextCounter is not being incremented, or that your program is crashing (you said you were getting a dump)? If it's just that cellNextCounter is not being incremented, and you think it should be, then presumably it is because the condition in the while() loop is never true - did you see my first post? If it's not that, which part of the condition is false which you think should be true?
