Hi All I need some help finding file names with in a folder. I have been checking online for help before i posted here but im having trouble understanding what i am finding so im hoping someone here can dumb it down for me. Im using c++ vs9 and it only has to work within windows. What i have found is the function FindFirstFile but i cant seem to get it working. this seems to have 2 parameters. the first is directory and what ever file names or file extentions i am searching for and the second is the container for the file name. is this correct or am i completely lost. for example using string myfile//or char array?
FindFirstFile(ImAPathName,myFile) Any help would be appreciated. Im gonna keep looking online for easier samples that can help me and will post back if i figure it out before i get a reply so dont waste your time thanks all g
