I may not get time to do a review until next weekend, but if I can find
some time before then I will.

That's not a bad place to start. Though I'd urge caution - the patches
have been of varying quality, so for the ones I've already applied I
spent a lot of time verifying the issue and vetting the correctness of
the fix before finally applying the patch.

At one point I went through every ticket and did triage. I marked the
ones that I personally thought were targets for the next release as
having a fix version of 1.7.0. But there are 85 of them, so that may
not be realistic.

I can go through and triage again to see what we can pare down to a
reasonable release target, but that probably won't happen until next
weekend.

Something specific, since you said you have time in the upcoming week -
there are multiple issues (3 or 4, I think) that have to do with the
code produced by the code generator. While the code generated is C, the
code generator itself is part of axis2-java-core, and is thus written in
Java. So it's best done by someone that's comfortable in both. If this
is something you think you might want to do, you are more than welcome
to.

Otherwise, you could probably just order the "fix version 1.7.0" issues
by priority and go down the list until you see something you like.

Also, in addition to whatever we decide needs to be fixed for the release, I
have some local patches that I would also like to upstream. Some are
bug fixes, but I also have a patch for adding SNI support to the client.
I'll try to get those added in the coming weeks.

(As an aside, I have a bunch of updates and fixes for rampart-c as
well, but that can come after we get the axis2c release out.

Best regards,
Bill
