I've used msxml to run c-sharp scripts from an xslt script. I see that the
java version of xalan can run java.

I assume the xalan c version can run java scripts if java is installed.
I also saw there was a project to extend the functions available in xslt.
Is there a function/method to execute an external application? Such as
fork() or system() in c code?
