I am in process of looking at feasibility of porting the entire xerces-c package into Windows version of ModelSim 6.1 which does not seem to have much commonality with the existing pre-built packages I see available on the web site. I did not see any e-mail thread about this subject, either. I was wondering if anyone has ever considered doing this or there is any watch-out list out there pertaining to this particular activity. As a background, the ModelSim compiler is fully g++ compatible since it is built on the top of this compiler. So, if I can find a g++ build for Windows, I should be able to save myself a lot of sleepless nights :-) Any feedback is appreciated. Regards, Farshad.
