libstdc++.so.5 not found when running samples

Hi all!
 
I compiled Xerces-C++ source and samples on Solaris, and all went ok.
 
Nevertheless, when I try to run any of the samples I get the following error:
 
ld.so.1: ./DOMPrint: fatal: libstdc++.so.5: open failed: No such file or 
directory
 
The library libstdc++.so.5 is under /usr/local/lib.
 
Does anybody know why I get this error?
