on the home page for xerces-p it clearly states that xerces-p can only
be built against xerces-c 2.7.0 .
yet, there's no place obvious on the website from whence to acquire that
revision. only 2.8.0 seems to be available.
i tried building xerces-p src 2.7.0 against xerces-c 2.8.0, and
predictably, it aborts.
where can i acquire the xerces-2.7.0 src tarball so that i might install
this properly on a new machine in order to get the xerces-p installation
to continue running tools that we had previously installed on other
linux machines and which require the xerces perl modules ... but for
which we no longer have the source with which to build.
