Hi All,
Can anybody tell me how the xerces parses the URI:
aaa://host.huawei.com:6666;transport=tcp;protocol=diameter
authority = server | reg_name
scheme:aaa
authority = host.huawei.com:6666;transport=tcp;protocol=diameter
Its invalid if we parse based on server name. But this seems to be valid if
the parser follows reg-name path.
The RFC 2396 suggests since the grammar is ambiguous at some places the
parser follows the greedy algorithm and gives preferences to left traversal
hence this URI is invalid also on basis of RFC 2396.
Also as in RFC 3896 the reg-name is removed from authority component.
Please let me know what your views are.
Regards,
Rahul
