Whilst I would think of trying to produce the patch myself, I am rather deep 
into the other open source project (migrating from MS XML to Xerces :->).  
Also, I have browsed the Xerces source and believe that it would be a very 
steep learning curve to understand what I had to do and even where to put it.
 
Thanks for the thought, I'll just have to wait. :-(
