Hello,
I tested your scenario and i think remaining hours and total hours are
correctly calculated.
I am getting Remaining Hours= -5 and Total Hours = 10,now you need to use
Reevaluate button to change remaining hours.

If you link a task with a Project after adding several Time spent lines, the
remaining Time, Total time...are badly computed
