widget="one2many_list" mode="form,tree" error creating new master

Bug description:
if mode="form,tree" is set, creating a new master also creates a new child
and all the validations are running and obviously producing error messages.
if the mode="form,tree" is omitted, the creation of a new master works as
expected and the user has to switch from tree tor form manually
a quick check of
find . -follow -name "*xml" | xargs grep mode | grep widget
shows that mode="form,tree" is never used in addons
