Hmm, works now,

but I suggest to rethink the naming - especially for chrome and firefox
I think

as there is no direct print, everything gets saved in a directory using
the same "name" like sale.order.layout.pdf making it difficult to choose
the right one to open.

I suggest to add the "name" field of the resource, to make the file names more 
verbose.
sale.order.layout.SO001.pdf

  can not re-print purchase order with chrome

Bug description:
  may be also a settings issue

  OpenERP produces a file purchase_order.pdf and chrome saves the first
  as purchase_order.pdf and pretends to save all subsequent  as
  purchase_order (1).pdf which can't be read - because these are not
  saved localy
