* Fix openNewBinaryFile on Windows with ghc-6.6
fdToHandle calls fdGetMode which does not work with ghc-6.6 on
windows, the workaround is not to call fdToHandle, but call
openFd directly. Bug reported by Alistair Bayley, ticket #473.
