I received the same result on 6 (6.12 I presume), 7.01 and 7.02

To attempt to run the tests you will need to install persistent, then cd
to the backends directory and cabal install for sqlite,postgresql, and
MongoDB, then come back to root persistent directory and try to run the
tests.
