Hi,

My last proposal was for Petal but it did not receive 100% acceptance.
We were 3 committers to answer. I was +1, Chris was kind enough to -0 it
and Julien was initially +1 but the offline told me that Chris'
rationale made sense... :-). IAS (non-committer) liked it too.

However, that left me with a bad taste. I find it important that at
least all committers agree on the name. Thus this last email to try to
find a name we all agree on.
I very much respect your attitude on this issue.

Can you vote on the following propositions (I've put all the
propositions received so far):

1/ Petal, directory name in CVS: "petals", jakarta-cactus-petal-*.zip
2/ No special name (e.g. Eclipse Plugin, StrutsTestCase Framework, etc),
directory name in CVS: "integration",
jakarta-cactus-plugin-eclipse-*.zip, etc
3/ Plugin, directory name in CVS: "plugins", jakarta-cactus-plugin-*.zip
4/ Front End, directory name in CVS: "frontends",
jakarta-cactus-frontend-*.zip
5/ Runner, directory name in CVS: "runner", jakarta-cactus-runner-*.zip
6/ Spine, directory name in CVS: "spine", jakarta-cactus-spine-*.zip
7/ Thorn, directory name in CVS: "thorn", jakarta-cactus-thorn-*.zip

I hope there are no other contenders as I would really like to go
forward now! :-)

Thanks
-Vincent
Okay, in order of preference:

A/ no special name aka integration (2/)
B/ frontend (4/)
C/ petal (1/)
D/ thorn (7/) or spine (6/)

I think both 'Plugin' and 'Runner' are technically incorrect or misleading, and would rather avoid them. Petal, thorn and spine are all in the same category of metaphoric names on which I've stated my opinion already ;-)
