The info on the "How To" site says, "In our case, we want the file called mod_jk-2.0.43.dll because we are using Apache 2.0.43." but as I just confirmed, the auto creation of he mod_jk file does not occur with mod_jk-2.0.46 when using Apache version 2.0.46 like you said.
My mod_jk.conf is now being generated, yay.
