You're right. I've just tried it and got the same result. Hum... This is zipped using the <zip> Ant task on a FreeBSD box. I've just opened a shell there and the archive is fine and can be uncompressed there. I'm on windows XP and it works with the default XP unzip.
Anyway, there's definitely an issue that we need to fix.
Any idea guys?
Okay, I've just confirmed that the problem is still there with the most recent builds (2003-03-06). It looks like a bug in Ant (see http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17648, which describes similar symptoms). A related fix has just been committed to Ant, so we should be checking the next nightly build to see if the problem has gone away.
