At this point I am unable to try out the latest version. I am running
on Mac OS X, and have only gotten cadaver to work via the macports
system. Unfortunately the latest version available via macports is
0.22.3. Trying to download the source and build 0.22.5 myself fails
on my system.
I guess I am stuck with this not working until (a) macports is
updated with a later version, or (b) I have time to try and diagnose
why 0.22.5 won't build on my system.

I misread the version here. At least one of those bugs is fixed in
0.22.4, I think both - can you try 0.22.5 from the web site?
