Well worth the visit. Understandably the ski station stands were the
busiest but there was a lot more to see besides those.
With just a sprinkling of snow on the highest mountains and the trees at
the best of their autumn colour, Andorra is looking good a this time of
year in the autumn sunshine. Despite it being between seasons, Andorra
was quite busy. The queue to get out at Pas de la Casa was one of the
longest I have seen. At the roundabout by the church a policeman holds
back the queue on the main road to prevent the queue from blocking the
roundabout. Consequently the traffic coming out of the centre of Pas de
la Casa gets a clear run. You now know which way to go to avoid the
queue. ;-)
For autumn colour the descent from the Col de Puymorens to La Tour de
Carol is particularly spectacular.
